Pokémon Petrolheads: Chronicles of the Fastest - File #3 : White Subaru joins the gang?

9th February 2014

It was two days before the National Foundation Day in Japan, but the day was still in winter. The speed legend continues, as more street racers are approaching into the Tokyo Metropolitan Area.

James Bernard was travelling in his Skull Bullet Camaro, and roaming around. Mitsuhashi Matsuda and Mizutani Akita weren't getting out. It was when the legendary "F1 Killer" was rumored to coming back to the streets, but unknown to others, it was running silently, smoothly and brightly, onto the wide expressways. The hashiriyas were soaked into the lights of expressways too.

At the junkyard, many forgotten legends were "cremated" into the metal scraps, or molten metals (at extreme temperature). These cremated legends were placed into an "urn" - a factory which recycle cars and metals. Others were exported to other countries. Because of this, lesser and lesser of legendary classics would survive in Japan, and were almostly restricted by the Japanese government from running so.

A new white-colored Subaru Legacy was running down into the Tokyo Metropolitan Highway from Mount Rokko in Hyogo Prefecture, and was bought about two weeks ago. This Subaru Legacy is powered by a swapped 3.8-litre boxer-six from Porsche 991 Turbo S, uprated at extremely high power (comparable to a McLaren P1). The rocket sedan has feared all the street racers from the whole Kanto region, even drifters are afraid of it. On Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway, it was terribly fast too, thought not the fastest.

18th February 2014

The early morning was empty in Ginza’s rest area, few commuters and no street racers parked for a meet up, not the usual sight. There were only two cars present, an orange McLaren P1 and a white aforementioned Subaru Legacy. The drivers of both cars were at the nearby kiosk, drinking from a can of soda bought from one of the nearby dispensers.

The aforementioned Subaru Legacy owner, Shoko Kijima, a Pichu who recently obtained driving license, discusses with Mitsurugi Takaba, a Raichu mechanic which specializes in engine swaps.
"Where did you get this McLaren P1?"
"Girl, I bought from dealerships. It was extremely rare, and was left-hand-drive only. I liked the electric-petrol hybrid system, and the KERS was great."
"Did you have any other cars in your garage?"
"A Nissan R390 and an Acura NSX. And yes, have you heard of that LFA?"
"No. What's that?"
"A Lexus LFA with carbon fibre bonnet and big rear wing. Twin-turbocharged V10, faster than a Nissan GT-R in hitting 100km/h. It was called Shinden."
"Really? It was rare! I want to see!"
"Sorry. You must ask him first."
"Who?"
"Matsuda Mitsuhashi."
"Oh. I didn't know that."
"That's okay. Where did you get your Subaru Legacy?"
"From my father. He was the legendary hashiriya, even he did not drive fast. He usually racing on tracks only, and he was a racecar driver."
"Your father sounds proud. I was a friend with him too, during old days when we entered the Japan Grand Touring Championship, in a Nissan Skyline GT-R. Before Mid-Night Club was disbanded, I was part of them, after I first joined the JGTC. I was still in JGTC after the club was disbanded. It was a secret thing so we cannot put this cat out from the bag."
"You're proud too. My dad knows you have a tuning shop, and visits there frequently."
"Thanks. I appreciate for you. See you next time."
"Bye, Mitsurugi." Shoko Kijima left the rest area with her Subaru Legacy.

21 February 2014

It was a good weather in this winter Friday, and Shoko Kijima meets Mitsuhashi Matsuda and Mizutani Akita at Shidome. They're going under conversation.
"Little girl, what's your name?"
"My name is... Kijima Shoko! Your name is?"
"Matsuda Mitsuhashi." The Minun said.
"My name is Akita Mizutani. How're you?"
"Fine. Where do you go?" Shoko said.
Shoko then glimpsed at the two sports cars.
"Wow, are you the elite racers? How did you own these sports cars?"
"We're the rich and elite racers so we have money to buy them." Mizutani said.
"I know." Shoko said.
"These are very expensive to buy in Japan. Lexus LFA is extremely rare. What about your Subaru Legacy?" Mitsuhashi said.
"Check it out." Shoko said.
The racers glimpsed at under the hood of Shoko's Subaru Legacy sedan.
"Still a boxer engine, but that's Porsche ones. How powerful is that?" The Mudkip asked.
"Nine-hundred horsepower, Mizutani." Shoko said.
"That's more powerful than us. How fast?" Mitsuhashi asked.
"I don't know. I used it frequently on Touge so I don't know its top speed. It hits 100km/h under 4 seconds." Shoko said.
"Fast rocket. Wanna try?" Mitsuhashi said.
"Nope." Shoko said.
Shoko Kijima then leave the parking area, and goes back to her hometown in Hyogo Prefecture, where her father was waiting for her.

When leaving to Hyogo Prefecture, Shoko is surrounded by a number of drifters from Mount Rokko. Luckily, the Pichu left them with extra speed, leaving them into the dust.

Both Mitsuhashi Matsuda and Mizutani Akita then going back to their hometown in Kyushu region tomorrow.
The Chapter 3 of Pokémon Petrolheads: Chronicles of the Fastest, based off "Saisoku no Gaiden".
